I came upon a rather heated discussion on a fellow blogger's page.
The topic?
Pro or con: Forced shoe removal upon entering the house of a host.
I say no way.
I mean, shoes are part of your outfit - and I always wear something with a little lift to give me that extra inch.
Also, I don't like walking around in my stocking feet.

Remember what happened to Carrie!!!
You mean *lift* like Sylvester Stallone or Tom Cruise shoe insert lift? You are too damn funny to be true. You Princess. And what happened to Carrie?
Carrie lost her Manola's at Tatum O'neal's party where she was forced to remove her shoes.
The ONLY shoes I'd remove at someone else's house would be Birkenstocks or Crocs, and I own neither. I would only walk barefoot in someone's apt. if they had a pair of Amy Winehouse ballet slippers for me to change into.
Birkenstocks or Crocs? I don't think they even sell them in Manhattan.
But what if the fit, sexy nutritionist wearing the Prada sneakers wants to remove his shoes in your place??
If I knew of any fit and sexy nutritionists in Pumas I would rethink my "shoes-on" policy.
You live in Manhattan. Doesn't sound too hard to find someone who fits the criteria.
Honey my shoes stay on and the "tits" always stay on ol Bertha
