Today on CNN was a moving report about the new Intrepid Center in Texas. The ground breaking facility was built for Iraqi veterans who were mangled in the war.
The cost: $50 million.
Who paid for it: Private donations.
I ask you: Why is it OK for Bush and his cronies - all war deserters - to send young men and women off to battle and then refuse to pay for their mental or physical injuries?

your right mm...bush should be sent over to Iraq on the front line, then we would see how his boozin daughters would feel! Bertha
ironic it being in texas and all.
Bertha thinks somethings up. Granted I may be white trash from vegas, just home from the tables. But it seems strange to me that when ol man dirty Bush, hits his lowest point with the peeps, Iran is discovered to mysteriously be supplying arms to Iraq, which helps Bush's war effort...Bertha thinks its all a big sham...so big I couldnt even fit it in my Vag! (better language for you MM)
You are so right MM.I have a job and you know where I work where I get to see just how much the government is spending on the war.I also get to see how much a family is paid when they lose a family member fighting over there. It is not what you would think. If the government didn't pay for the funeral of that service man or woman let's just say there would be almost enough to bury him or her.Now how sad is that? Julie
I know for sure if this country reinstated the draft Bush wouldn't be able to run rampant with his cowboy antics in Iraq
next stop Iran.
If every young man and young woman had to serve, Americans would be storming the Capitol in protest.
These democrats we just elected into office would have pissed consitutuents to answer to.
Everyone should be a participant.
When you came out of the whom did you Mother slap you at first sight? I think thats where you bitterness comes from.
No honey, my bitterness stems from anonymous bloggers like you!!
Bertha - I knew you had a lady in you.
It's about time you wrote a book - it would be hilarious!
