THE NOSE KNOWS

On the L train tonight, I noticed a sleek young woman with a $2000 Marc Jacobs bag, a $700 pair of leopard Jimmy Choos and a head of $1500 butter blonde extensions by Brad John. Obviously, this woman was a slave to vanity, so I was stunned to look up and discover she was cursed with a huge potato nose. I mean, this was a nose only a blind mother could love.

As I exited the train and headed for home, one thought ran through my mind... with all that money, why not fix the nose?

hmmm - all the expensive crap suggests total lack of self confidence and starvation for outside approval yet the huge schnoz goes unfixed. crazy city you live in!

I sometimes have issues with peoples faces so I make myself feel better by making up a story...observe:
Maybe she inherited her huge nose from her wealthy grandfather who won't give her another cent if she has the surgery. Since he is bankrolling her shopping habit she lives with it, knowing that when he cracks off someday she's running with a fistful of dollars to get it fixed.
There. Now don't you feel better about it? ;)

I saw the ugliest woman in a play a month ago. she'd had everything done to here face, so she looked young and plastic, but her arms and chest were wrinkly like a 50 yr old, it was so bizarre, and when she smiled her lips were so fishlike it was scarym, her chin implant was also too large, as were her cheek implants, aaaah LA, somehow they still put her on the stage.

I know what you are saying, but the fact that her face is taken as normal in LA is both shocking and fabulous at the same time. There is a reason they call it La La Land.
