With Arlen Specter's switch to the rival party, the Democrats are one step closer to having control of the Senate. And once Minnesotan Al Franken takes his rightful seat, the Democrats will have the coveted 60 votes to stop a Senate filibuster.

What does all of this mean?

It means Barak Obama can finally make some amazing changes.

Arlen Spector will continue to vote his conscience no matter what party he belongs to, Oral. He's always been socially liberal, and fiscally conservative until he voted for B Hussain's (intentional "A") stimulus package. So, as you can see, the Republican party really didn't lose anything by his switch, nor did the Democratic party really gain any ground. He's a senator, and if he doesn't vote with the will of his constituants he'll be voted out of office. THAT'S why he's switching parties. He knew he couldn't win on the Republican ticket, but he has new found life with the Democratic populace of Pennsylvania.

Second, Al Franken will make a POS senator if he's allowed to steal this election. I don't really know all the specifics of this case, but I do know that the Democratic party mysteriously found several thousand "unopened" votes. This all sounds pretty fishy to me, and I blame a large portion of this confussion on the Republican Governor of Minnesota for not nipping this in the bud. He allowed that clown Franken to bring his circus to town. I probably shouldn't comment too much on this since I really am uninformed (you could even say ignorant. I'll let it go this time) of the insider views. Maybe Charlie knows more. He's the one who most likely knows something out of all of the folks who write into your blog.

I honestly respect what Charlie has to say, most of the time. I often get on a little bit of a smart-ass kick, and I tend to go overboard with it. But Charlie usually seems to be level headed.

Anonymous, the same was said of the Democrats after Carter, and Clinton both left office: "The Democrats are dead!". The same thing was said about the Republicans after Nixon-Ford, and Bush Sr. left office. This shit is cyclical, and it has been since the founding of America. The only way this could change, at least in my view, is if B Hussain (intentional "A") gives amnesty to the 50,000-100,000 illegal aliens that would come here under his open borders policy. That could absolutely change the voting parameters in this country.

But calm down. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.
