THE EAGLE HAS LANDED AT WALMART

Does anyone else find it odd that the legendary Eagles are releasing their new CD exclusively at Walmart?

I mean, wasn't this the hippy dippy band from the 1970's that preached against corporate America in their song "Hotel California"?

I smell a sell-out here - big time.

Why can't we all be so lucky to sell out to Walmart? I say good on the Eagles.

Yeah, but don't the Eagles have enough cushy couches?

I like that Paul McCartney is selling his cd only through Starbucks, and Madonna left her record label, and now the Eagles are dealing with Walmart.

I will comtinue to illegally download my music, and forget it if they think I am paying Ticketmaster surcharges to see anyone live. I love the changes.

I hear you honey - I LIMEWIRE everything. Those big money hogs like Madonna etc...don't need my money.

Perhaps they thought that going with Walmart was the best way to "take it to the limit". :)

Besides, Walmart like those smiley-face stickers, and smiley-face stickers are cool.
