YOU BE THE JUDGE

I have always HATED Sarah Palin, but this recent bit of news is frightening. I understand that perhaps the wolf population needs to be controlled, but isn't there a more humane way to kill these animals?

I watched this and thought that there has got to be a special place in hell for people who enjoy killing animals. I am to upset to even discuss this,as an animal lover and proud pet mom(2 rescue dogs and 2 cats)I am sickened to think that some so called born again christian( Sarah P.),feels its o.k. to barbarically hunt down these fine intelligent beasts. I can't talk..susang

Wow. The ignorance of the left amazes me. First of all, Gov. Palin did NOT sign this bill into law (hunting by aircraft has been allowed in Alaska for many, many years. The LAW was passed while Palin's predecessor was in office). Secondly, wolves are PREDATORS. They prey on young livestock (i.e.: cattle, sheep, etc.), other wildlife youth (caribou, moose, Santa's Reindeer, elk, etc.), and they commonly carry disease which happens to be the result of over population of ANY species (just look at New York City!). In the last several years, due to the expanding human population into what was previously wildlife habitat, these creatures have started feeding on family pets. Oh, and also human young. And if you think I'm just making this shit up, you can find actual documented instances right here on the internet.

It's obvious that the youngest Judd sibling is not only extracted from the reality of this situation, but a liberal mouth-piece. We can see that susang aspires to follow in her foot steps. Listen up folks: Life ain't all peaches-and creme. Sometimes we have to deal with reality.

Maybe the wolves need to be controlled - but isn't there a more humane way to kill them? I remember how Palin traumatized that turkey - she is no friend to animals.

If you meant "Joe Biden" when you said "turkey", then yeah, I agree. She did get pretty rough with the lackey breed.

But considering the wolves: Do you have a suggestion on how to be more humane while thinning the herd? I see no better, or more economic way.

Well, let me see - how about shooting them with a tranquilizer dart and then injecting them into a nice painless death - anything is better than riddling the wolves with bullets.

Oh, PS Baxter dear, better check your facts....New Yorkers rank right up there with the healthiest and most long lived Americans - we walk more, eat better and have better healthcare.

Shooting wolves with tranquilizers, then giving them a dose of sodium arsenite would get pretty expensive (It takes all the fun out of killing stuff, anyways). Some are poisoned, but then the risk of domesticated dogs, and cats finding the poison is greatly increased. It appears that the majority of agencies, divisions, and individuals involved find the present way wolves are being dealt with to be the most logical solution. And these folks actually know what's going on. The ones such as young Ms. Judd, and susang, and the goofy left-leaning liberal throngs looking to sue the State of Alaska over this honestly haven't got a clue as to what reality is in this case. To attempt to put blame squarly on Gov. Palin is not only ignorant, it's a very partisan reaction. The left fears Palin, and maybe they should, considering the fine job of "reaching across the aisle" that colored fellas' doing so far.

I may be wrong about the physical disease running rampant through NYC, but there sure are alot of head-doctors there! Psychosis is contagious, ya know?
