MINNE-NOPLACE.

I have finally figured out what the problem is with Minneapolis. The city has all the major headaches of a big city - extreme crime, huge traffic jams etc...- but none of the benefits. No style, No culture, No restaurants - NOTHING.

How you know it! What little culture it did have went away almost 10 years ago. Its the land of babies and boredom. I think everyone is fat cause all there really is to do is eat, and watch TV. And the traffic is HELL, comprable to L.A., but no glamour! Why do you go so often? You really seem to hate it (and I do as well), I go only when I must!

I think it's so funny how everyone thought it was going to be a step-down for me when I moved to Milwaukee. But it really puts Minneapolis to shame in all it offers.

who thought middle america had any culture or restaurants?

if you keep going to minneapolis, just eat your happy meals and your ihop and quit complaining already!

ps how's the brow lift holding up?

Why do you go there anyway? If you have relatives, fly them to you or go for a day here or there? You seem to hate it so...must be horrible for you in our fairly dull city

Brow lift? I've never had a brow lift. I'm not saying I wouldn't, but not yet. Get your facts right, honey.

Oh, and PS - get a life and write something constructive or don't bother. I know who this is.

ummm. as someone who has lived in minneapolis and los angeles for at least five years in each location i can tell you the traffic is not even close to comparable. anyone who says otherwise obviously has no idea what he/she is talking about. traffic in la is infinitely infinitely infinitely worse.

my bro lives in minneapolis and i'd challenge anyone to call him out of shape.

Depends where you are in LA if you are on highway 35 to 36, the traffic is so bad that it takes about 30 minutes to get less than 2 to 4 miles from 4 to 7 pm. Ive been in LA many many times, and although the traffic can be very bad, I honestly didnt think it was much different from minny. Youve been away from minny for quite some time Nick and in the last 5 years traffic jams are up 50%. Stick around...and youll sence the hellishness yourself.

i think we'll have to agree to disagree. the crosstown in minneapolis is bad but compare that to ANYWHERE on the 405 from the valley all the way to orange county when it turns back to the 5. trust me, i know the freeways in both la and minneapolis like the back of my hand. true i've been away from minneapolis but i doubt it has gotten anywhere close to any freeway in LA during the same time period.
