BACK TO SCHOOL

"This is where I first cut myself."
"This is where I found out I was pregnant."

"This is where I found out I had a brain tumor."

And my favorite - "This isn't a high school musical."

For the past few weeks, I have been mesmerized by these haunting commercials advertising WE network's new show "High School Confidential" - a documentary  4-years in the making featuring 12 girls from Kansas.  I mean, I drove my friends batty over the past few weeks with my constant "This is where I sucked my first dick  etc...." jokes about the show.

Well, this week I was lucky enough to meet the girls who were in Manhattan on a media blitz to promote the show.    Fresh from an appearance on "The Tyra Bank's Show", I primped the girls for a Newsweek article.

Of course, I greeted each girl by her problem, which I have to admit made the Midwestern mothers a little weary of me.

The show starts this Monday on WE.

Do kids (tweeny demographics) buy into this shitty programming? I'd rather drill a hole in the side of my head and watch my brain drip into a cup.

Tom Cruise rejected by Garner, Alba
TOM Cruise has been attacked by a former Scientologist who claims the star "auditioned" potential brides, before picking Katie Holmes.

Ex-Scientologist Marc Headley - who used to produce promotional films for the controversial religion - claims Holmes was set up with the Mission: Impossible star after he split from actress Penelope Cruz in 2004.

He claims that Cruise's marriage to Katie Holmes was set up by the Church of Scientology after a series of fake casting calls to lure actresses including Jennifer Garner and Jessica Alba failed.

Headley alleged Scientology leader David Miscavige organised an audition process for potential wives disguised as a casting call for a new movie in which Cruise was the leading man.

He told News of the World: "After that (splitting from Cruz), he started complaining to his best buddy David about his luck with girls. So Miscavige assigned a high-ranking official with the order: 'Find a wife for Tom Cruise.'

"The official put out a casting call to female actresses, including Scientologists, saying, 'There's an upcoming Tom Cruise movie you might get a part in. Come for an audition.'

"But in the end no movie was made. They had to be single, they had to be pretty and in their 20s.

"First they rounded up Scientologist actresses like Erica Christensen, Erica Howard and Sofia Milos. But they were all rejected."

The unnamed official then tried to lure Jennifer Garner - who had just started dating Ben Affleck - with the beauty ranked top of the priority list, before Holmes was spotted gushing about Cruise and called to LA to meet the actor.

Headley added: "Then... they went for Jennifer Garner, Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Alba, in that order. They came up with the same plan. Jennifer and Jessica didn't bite but Scarlett took the bait and came in for an audition.
