LAST ONE AT THE PARTY

I hate to say it, because I support Hillary, but I think it's time for her to drop out of the race. The polls suggest she has a stronger chance to beat old daddy McCain in the fall, but I guess the public has spoken.

Let's pray Obama doesn't fuck up.

Not sure what polls suggest Hillary has a stronger chance of beating McCain in a general election. Every poll I've seen has had Obama on top (and I read polls religiously), but the margins are so small that it doesn't really matter either way. Hillary by 1 point or Obama by 2, that's about it. They're all within the margin of error.

But I think people underestimate the fragility of the Republican party. The polls remain close now, but I think that's going to change throughout the summer when bruised Americans finally begin to realize that McCain is really just "Bush 3" in all the matters that count. Any fool who thinks a gas income tax holiday will solve ANY of our problems doesn't know much about domestic economics.

Hillary will fall in line, and the gathering momentum of the Democratic party will be very powerful indeed. Strange thought, huh?

I have my reservations, but a large part of me thinks Obama will be our next president. And don't give me any of that "America is too racist" crap because it simply isn't reflected in the results.

I, too, hope for a Democrat president in 2008 - but the same people that put Bush in office are going to fight tooth and nail for old daddy McCain - and those people will go to the polls on their deathbeds while the same can not be said of the lazy liberals.

I also fear the blue collar white workers that voted in droves for Hillary - who will they vote for in the privacy of a curtained booth? You have to face facts: America is a very racist place. I mean, I would like to pretend it doesn't exist, but it does -look what happened today in NYC with Al Sharpton shutting down the Brooklyn Bridge.

Oh, the poll that I blogged about was conducted 6 days ago by the AP - it had Hillary beating old daddy McCain by 9 points while Obama lagged behind McCain by 2 points.

True indeed, yet I don't necessarily think he'd lose the blue-collar vote simply because he's (half) black. That's certainly part of it, but I believe it'd have more to do with the whole "elitist" nonsense.

He weathered Jeremiah Wright (as "black" an issue as you can get) without significant problems but suffered greatly in the polls after the bitter comments (more nonsense).

But remember, the blacks certainly wouldn't vote for Hillary after having Obama shamelessly stolen from them due to Superdelegate backstabbing.

In modern history, no Democratic candidate has won the office without the black vote. None. Zero. Zilch. It doesn't happen without their support...

The Blacks will never vote for old Daddy McCain, never, they will either vote for Hillary or not vote at all. And the hispanics are more important than the blacks now.....they were not before...they are now......so lets hope Hillary gets in! I need my tits to stay floppin!
