PETER PAN

Have you ever noticed that people in relationships tend to dress their age and discuss things like stocks, real estate and other grown up stuff, while us singletons - regardless of age – dress like pop stars and gab nonstop about the coolest clubs, the wackiest reality TV shows and our latest fucks?

I think shrinks call this the Peter Pan Syndrome – you know, never wanting to grow up.

The other night I was watching “Six Feet Under” and I was thinking I wanted a life just like David’s when I grew up - and then it dawned on me: I was already older than the character.

I mean, at what age do we give in and age gracefully and start living as grown ups? I don't have the answer, but I do draw the line at 35 year-old men wearing tattered Abercrombie baseball caps.

promise me that you'll never start dressing out of the juniors department at Macy's, or worse yet" Kohl's".There is nothing more pathetic than an aging queen or hetero who thinks they still have it. I believe you called it " old models syndrome". susan

Well I dress in lowcut tops always or unbutton my tops to show off my tits....I supppose I could be considered PeterPanish, as I do not want kids or pets....and I love to go clubbing (once a month) and I am practically 40....but then again...who said that having a PeterPan syndrom was a bad thing???

Nothing wrong with Peter Pan Syndrome - that is if you can get away with it.

you gays are all afraid of getting old...Your always alone, and have the hope that you WILL not always be alone. You think looking younger will help you get a man....but infact you just remail alone with your 6 feet under.....

Thank you for the kind words about my daughter. I perosnally think she is the cutest. My husband and I went through two years of hell getting her so now, I take 9900 pics a day.
